Host John Salley took questions from viewers and read them verbatim. One curious viewer wanted to know if Doug Christie, husband of 17 years to cast member, Jackie Christie, was gay.
Jackie hesitated before laughing and saying, “.. well I don’t know if he’s gay or not....”
She continued that “even if he was [she] would love him just the same".
Laura Govan, took to Twitter to voice her disbelief:
Jackie, Doug renewed their vows at a gay club and are long time supports of the LGBT community.
