Toya Wright sat down with Talking With Tami, to discuss her husband Memphitz appearing on the 'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' reunion show and K.Michelle....
Don't hold your breath, Toya says exec producer Mona Scott-Young asked Memphitz and she told him to NOT go; she is currently readying up her lawyer for legal action against the reality star.
And she assures K has mental problems, and doesn't even have custody of her child...
“I just got a gag order placed on her...” Toya recently told Talking With Tami.
"...I promised myself that I was never going to talk about that because she’s so irrelevant to me, but I’m going to say this: The picture she’s painting of my husband, is not my husband...I’ve been knowing him for six years. I know several women that he has dated that never said anything about abuse. If someone abused you like that, where’s the proof? Where’s the police report? Where’s the pictures? Where’s the messages that you claim that he sent threats to your kid and threatened to kill your child? These are things that, it doesn’t matter about love, you’d be in jail if you threatened my kid.”
Toya stands by Memphitz...
“That’s my husband. I don’t know you, and I was not there when y’all had the altercation. True, but I’m going to be 100 percent supportive of my man. I don’t know this abuser. I never met that guy. I don’t know nothing about him abusing women or nothing,” said Toya.
“He’s a very loving person. He’s very affectionate. Anyone who knows him for real, just be like, ‘What is wrong with this girl?’ The crazy part about it is that everyone said you crazy and that you hit him,” she said about the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star.
Toya implies K is just using her family as a ploy to get attention...
"K. Michelle needs to find her own story line and stop trying to stay relevant by gaining ratings from us, you know she is bonafide schizophrenic too! She doesn’t even have custody of her son."
Toya advised K.Michelle to stop talking about MeMpHiTz and focus on her career.
“Pump your music up. I’m not a hater, but please stop talking about me and my family,” she said. “Go and promote your music and do what you got to do. God gave you a platform. Use it.”

Do you think it was a good idea for Toya to comment on the The K Situation, or is she just fueling more fire to this beef?
Toya sounds d%%% drunk in this interview! What abused women you know walks around with proof! Most women try to hide it. Working in the medical field K M sounds like she has been abused. From reading Memphiz comments released after K Mitchelle's allegations....all of his comments sound like the words of an abuser! I handle these cases everyday. Dont get me wrong, she should support her husband but you should never attack the abused. Her abuse is apart of her platform.....that's how she got introduced to R&B.....the record deal and all. Why did Jive records fire him?!? The money was looking funny! She just exposed him.

DeleteI once was abused by my son father for 5 years, it took me a long time to address the situation because it was embarrassing. I know what K is feeling and I applaude her. TOYA Im a fan of yours, its just that you only know what he tells and i say yes stand by your man, but you have to let her get it out. Im glad k is at a place in her life where she can talk about it. Thats the first step to moving forward.

ReplyDeleteI agree I went through an abusive relationship an not once did I think to stop an take pic's an was very embarrass to talk about it at first took awhile it was only when a close friend was goin through the same thing that I decided to speak out; however everybody relationship is not the same they are two different women how he treated KM can be so different then how he treats Toya. And besides KM doesn't have half of the family Toya got an a Ex that ain't goin for the bs. Men know who to prey on an by him helpin her get a record deal he could have used that against her all the time an we all know love can make you do some crazy things. Stand by your man but always be a woman first

ReplyDeleteNot everyone feels comfortable calling the police,it's embarrassing,demeaning and you feel like you some how deserved it,when really no one does.I am appalled at Toya for her attack on K.M and Mona Scot for wanting to exploit this issue for ratings by trying to bring that bastard onto the show which would cause more emotional distress to K.M. So what Toya knew him for six years,abusers are good at hiding who they are until someone accuses them,then they start running their mouth proving that they are in fact a woman beater.Their ego is always their down fall and Memphiz ego has spoken and still putting one nail after another in his own coffin. Toya would do well to shut up and watch her back,she should not have opened her mouth about this. Since she has,she has made herself and him look like fools. If she has said something he does not approve of she will see the same bastard that K.M saw,if she hasn't already. Who knows, it could be him putting her up to speaking on his behalf worshiping him and attacking K.M.
ReplyDeleteAs for K.M having proof, She was in a situation (working under contract) where she would need some proof to get out of the relationship as well as a contract with her abuser. I for one feel she does not need the proof now, Mr&Mrs.Memphiz has convinced me.
my kids father abused me for years until i left ,but his new wife says he has never hit her,but she has never said that he never hit me bcuz he has never hit her ,REAL WOMAN REAL TALK,toya sounds so stupid,she better pray she never meet that memphis that kmachelle knew or has she????????
