Erica Addresses Dating A Married Man

'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' Erica Dixon was trashed after her new love was outed as a MARRIED MAN (click Pink for more).

Erica says it's all a misunderstanding, the man in question is just a friend and she made up the part about 'finding a new boo' to quite the buzz about her rocky relationship with Lil Scrappy...

Hmm, how convenient..

According to Erica, a photo of the two posted on Twitter is what started the gossip.

“When the first picture came out, I was like, ‘so what?...He’s my friend. He’s been my friend for a while, and the media has just taken it and twisted it all out of context. They’ve taken just a simple photo and made it something that it’s not,” she said. “This is just the devil trying to ride my back.”

Erica tweeted that she had someone, but later admitted she lied about being in a relationship... 

“That was just to shut [the gossip] down.”

However, she is actually single and “open to dating,” but is more focused on her daughter right now.

“They reach out, but I just feel like it’s for the wrong reason. I’m not about a publicity stunt or anything. So, I’m good. I’m focused on my career. I’m focused on being a mother. That’s pretty much it right now,” she said.

Hold on one muthafin' minute...

Who the hell lies about being in a relationship first off, and ONLY when it's uncovered he's married you pull the whole 'see I just made it all up' excuse? Sumthin' aint right...

We are definitely going to keep our eye on Erica, she's a sneaky one.
