According to reports, Kells is suffering complications from surgery he received a year ago to treat an abscess on his vocal cords...
The singer's discomfort stems from his emergency surgery in July 2011, where doctors had to drain an abscess on one of his tonsils. Kelly had to cancel scheduled appearances on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and NBC's "Today" show and a book-launch party. The Pied Piper of R&B's reps are unsure how long he will be sidelined.
