Rihanna first alarmed fans, and Chris, on July 10 when she posted a photo of herself in her hotel room, drinking, as she tweeted, “I had to!!! Sorry granny.”
According to a source close to Chris, “Chris was really, really worried about her when he [heard] she was up drinking and partying…by herself, so he just wanted to reach out to her and show and little support, you know?”
While he’s already reached out to her once, Chris sent another text of concern, saying “Cut out all [that] drinking.”
The source says that Rihanna hasn’t replied to Chris’ texts yet, but that there “[isn't any] love lost between them at all,” continuing, “He’s just being a man and being responsible…making sure [she's] all right.”
Rihanna’s hard time seems to stem from both the recent loss of her grandmother, Dolly, and her separation from Chris Brown. She recently admitted to Harper’s Bazaar just how in love with him she really was.
