They found semi-unknown actor Jay Ellis, who will join Lauren London as Tia Mowry's replacement (click Pink for more)...
Jay Ellis, who has appeared in small roles in several series including 'Hart of Dixie' and 'NCIS' will join the series as it moves into its sixth season. Ellis joins previously announced Lauren London as a new addition to the show, which revolves around the members of a fictional San Diego football team and their significant others.
Ellis will play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrook, a.k.a. “Blue, a star running back from an Ivy League school who has a tendency to rub his new professional teammates the wrong way.
Ellis’ character will eventually become involved with London’s character, a former child star struggling to transition into adult roles.
As we previously reported, Tia Mowry & Pooch Hall were FIRED and the BET hit show had to scramble to re-work the plot and cast two new main characters.
