Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams, and Kesha Nichols were allegedly asked to leave 'Basketball Wives' and their replacements are still unclear...
According to sources, producers consider those three girls ''dead weight''.
Royce was cut because she wasn't legally allowed to talk about Dwight due to a 2009 gag order, blocking her from discussing her ex in any way. The other girls on the show had also decided to ostracize her, so Royce couldn't shoot scenes with the rest of the cast. Also, Royce became simply an annoyance on the show with her constant whiny attitude.
As for the others -- producers think Jennifer's too big a liability after suing Nia Crooks for slapping her on the show. And Kesha was just too boring with a lacking story line, and after her bully incident the girl was ready to go.
A rep for VH1 tells, “We don't comment on casting until everything is final. Thanks for checking in.”
Shaunie aint STUPID, which we all knew! She is not going to fire Tami AND Evelyn which are the show's controversy factors that draw ratings and talk.
But pls Shaunie, stop with the ol' I'm SO tired of the drama and fighting and just keep it REAL next time!
