BET gets caught in their web of lies...
Tia Mowry dished to Vh1's Big Morning Buzz on why she will not be returning to her role as Mel on The Game, stating "It was definitely a mutual decision. It was time for me to move on to other things like writing this book, and I just finished doing a movie on ABC Family, and then I'm working on 'Tia & Tamera' with my sister, premiering June 11th."
While suspicions were swirling that Pooch Hall would also NOT be returning to reprise his role as Derwin, BET released an official statement on the matter...
...Hall isn't coming back because of his "involvement on a new project." Hall recently signed on to do the Showtime pilot "Ray Donovan."
...BET "is in the process of reworking the casting and storyline" and hopes Hall and Mowry "will make several guest appearances."
Talk about throwing salt in a fresh wound! Fire them as main stars, then throw them a bone by asking them back as 'guest appearances'...WOW!
BET obviously FIRED them both, because Pooch was just on Twitter begging to stay apart of the cast (click Pink for more)...+ Tia saying MUTUAL is a nice way of keeping face!
BET! GOTCHA! Tia & Pooch will get the last laugh tho, 'cuz The Game is finito...
