Deion Sanders accused his estranged wife Pilar of attacking him, which resulted in her arrest. Invistagors probed into the case and later charged Deion with assault also.
Pilar holds on to her innocence, and her attorney Peter Schulte states "We have evidence of witnesses that completely contradict Mr. Sanders story!"...
Lisa Thomas a neighbor and a pianist who taught piano lessons to the Sanders kids for years, overheard the "fight" that night and comes to Pilar's defense...
"I heard glass breaking, and Deion was shouting at the top of his lungs, over and over again, 'Get out of my house, get out of my house!'" Thomas said.
Thomas said she made her way out of the house, and as she was leaving the police arrived. She describes them as being aggressive with Pilar...
"That's what I found strange," Thomas said. "They hadn't even interviewed them, and they were pushing her out like she was some criminal, and they said, 'You stay outside,' and just said, 'Do not come back in this house.'"
She said Deion Sanders was treated nicely. Thomas said she was stunned to learn Pilar Sanders was arrested.
"I was flabbergasted," she said. "This can not be right. It's not right. It's so wrong. Now way she deserved to go to jail."
She said Prosper police officers didn't take her statement. In fact, she says she called them the next day to give her account...
"He said, 'Well you don't know the whole story. You don't know what happened,'" Thomas said of her call with police. "And I said, 'Well, I was there when the fight started.'"
Thomas said she cares for both Pilar and Deion, but felt she had to say something to set the record straight.
Pilar's sister Kandie said her sister was the one who was attacked that night (click Pink for more), and this woman with no relation to Pilar has no reason to lie. Sounds like a cover up...
