Update: One Too Many Pills: Is Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino A Drug Addict?

We previously thought Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was off to rehab because of one too many drinks from his excessive partying. However, "The Situation" has a much more serious addiction on his hands...

Drugs: this is when the party needs to end for good.

According to reports,

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino opens up about his drug addiction, "I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion," Sorrentino, 29, wrote on his website.

"I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys."

On Tuesday, his rep clarified that he was not in a rehab facility, but rather, was "at an undisclosed location for for much-needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

It seems he's doing well, as just a few hours earlier in the day, an MTV spokesperson said the network had "no comment" about Sorrentino's state of mind, but added that they "fully expect and are looking forward to the entire cast returning for a sixth season."

Problems with this scenario:
1.) MTV needs to care less about their money from Jersey Shore and more about Mike's STATE OF MIND! He's a drug addict, MTV  you need to comment on it!


2.) Mike, you need to face reality! You are a drug addict, accepting you have a problem is the 1st step!


3.) OK he is in REHAB like a million other celebrites, why try to call it by another name!


4.) How can the whole cast return for a sixth season? Snooks "preggo a$$" better not be on that show!
