We are a big fan of Mary J. Blige's but her when she sung that national anthem we had to literally put the mute button on. When she hit those high notes she left our ears ringing. She sounded like a dying cat. She was trying too hard to sound like she was this great singer. Don't get us wrong, she can sing but she is nowhere in the great category.
